- Plug the antenna cable from the wall into the RF In socket at the back of your set top box. The antenna cable is what you would have previously had plugged straight into the back of your TV before you purchased the set top box.
-
Then using the lead with three different colours (red, white, yellow) that was supplied with the set top box plug the white cable into the socket at the back of your set top box that has "L" below it. Plug the red cable into the socket at the back of your set top box that has "R" below it - These are your audio sockets. Plug the yellow cable into the socket at the back of your set top box that has "Video" below it.
-
The other end of these cables will then need to be plugged in to your television. Your TV should have coloured sockets matching the cables, and may be labeled as the following: "Audio In" - "R" (for the red cable) "L" (for the white cable) and "Video In" for the yellow cable.
-
Once all of the cables are connected, you can then plug in the power cable to the set top box. Press the "TV/AV" or "Source" button on your TV to locate the channel that the set top box is being broadcast through. You will then enter the set up menu as per your instruction booklet.

- Does your VCR have audio in and video in sockets at the back of it? If it does, plug the red, white and yellow cables from your Set Top Box - composite (L sound and R sound) and video out sockets into the back of the VCR. Make sure that the antenna is plugged from the wall into the RF In socket on your set top box. You will then be able to plug the three cables that are currently connected from your VCR to your TV in, and you will have digital TV through your VCR.
-
Alternatively, if you have no audio or video in sockets on the back of your VCR, you will need to use the RF Loop Through function on your Set Top Box. You will need to plug the antenna from the wall into the back of your set top box. You will then need to plug the red, white and yellow cables (composite - L sound and R sound and video out sockets) from your set top box your into the back of your TV. You will then need to purchase another antenna cord (female to male), and plug this from the RF loop through socket in the back of your set top box into the VCR.
-
You can then connect your VCR as per above.
